Observatory Dome

The observatory dome is a metal structure used to protect the fixed astronomical telescope from water and dust.

The observatory dome manufactured by our company is made of stainless steel (or aluminum plate) with steel frame support, outer mask with thickness of 0.8mm-1mm, Inner mask with color steel plate with thickness of 0.5mm (special mask scheme can be designed according to user requirements), and the horizontal rotation can be achieved by friction drive or sprocket drive to achieve horizontal 360° rotation. The skylight adopts the climbing window type design, having the good waterproof, the dustproof characteristic. The climbing window uses the sprocket drive way. The opening angle of the skylight is 5° -- 95°. The opening width of the skylight can be specially designed according to the needs of the telescope. 

The observatory dome can be followed up and controlled remotely according to user requirements. Users can conduct observation practice and real-time monitoring from any location through the network. The observatory dome has the characteristics of firm structure, smooth operation and low noise.
