Astronomical Observatory

The astronomical observatory is a semi-spherical or super-hemispherical metal structure used to protect fixed astronomical telescopes and other optical observation equipment from water and dust.

It is the idealist with super hemisphere longitude and latitude style structure. The dome is riveted by metal panel and framework. The whole is smooth, tidy, waterproof, rainproof, dustproof and closed. The dome 360°freely revolves in horizontal direction. The skylight drives with sealed chain. Its switch is smooth beyond 90°up and down and moves in balance. Both are electric in the dome’s horizontal driven and the skylight up and down’s switches, with handle control and easily operation. It sets control panel in the inner of the dome. Each fixed appliance is insulation, safe and easily operation.

The astronomical observatory manufactured by our company is made of steel frame supporting structure, stainless steel (or aluminum plate) with outer thickness of 0.8mm-1mm, and colored steel plate (or aluminum plate) with inner thickness of 0.5mm (special mask scheme can be designed according to user requirements). The horizontal rotation adopts friction drive or sprocket drive to realize horizontal 360° positive and negative rotation. The skylight adopts arc climbing window-type design, with good waterproof and dustproof characteristics. Arc climbing window adopts sprocket drive mode. The opening angle of the skylight is 5° -- 95°. The opening width of the skylight can be specially designed according to the needs of the telescope.

The observatory dome can be followed up and controlled remotely according to user requirements. With the adoption of "follow-up tracking" and "remote control", users can observe practical activities and real-time monitoring through the network at any location. The observatory has the characteristics of firm structure, smooth operation, low noise and lightning protection.
