Astronomical Dome

The dome astronomical observatory is one protective construction specifically designed for telescopes. It combines with telescopes’ observation and astronomic photos taking with the skylight’s open and dome’s horizontal rotation. Its main function is to protect the valuable astronomy apparatus against natural environment influence. Also it becomes the new attraction and the landmark building in appearance. 

It is the idealist with super hemisphere longitude and latitude style structure. The dome is riveted by metal panel and framework. The whole is smooth, tidy, waterproof, rainproof, dustproof and closed. The dome 360°freely revolves in horizontal direction. The skylight drives with sealed chain. Its switch is smooth beyond 90°up and down and moves in balance. Both are electric in the dome’s horizontal driven and the skylight up and down’s switches, with handle control and easily operation. It sets control panel in the inner of the dome. Each fixed appliance is insulation, safe and easily operation.  

Now, for better and more intelligent in dome’s telescopes observation, it adds remote control and servo control system based on previous dome’s switch control.
